Yatregan ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Yatregan mobile application. We provide a platform connecting travelers from Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida to various destinations in Uttarakhand. This policy explains our data practices with a specific focus on Cash-on-Ride transactions and passenger safety.

2. Information We Collect

To ensure a secure environment for both riders and drivers, we collect:

  • Account Information: Full name, verified mobile number, and optional email address.
  • Real-Time Location: We collect precise GPS data to facilitate pickups and monitor trip safety during mountain transits.
  • Trip History: Details of your past travels, including pickup/drop points and ride frequency.
  • Device Info: IP address, device model, and operating system for app optimization and fraud prevention.

3. Cash Payment Policy

Payment Mode: Yatregan currently operates on a Cash-Only basis. All payments must be made directly to the driver at the end of the trip.

Financial Privacy: Since payments are made in cash, Yatregan does not collect or store your bank details, credit card numbers, or UPI credentials. We only record the final fare amount for record-keeping and commission purposes.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your information strictly for operational needs:

  • Connecting you with the nearest available driver in Delhi/NCR.
  • Generating fare estimates for your journey to Uttarakhand.
  • Safety Monitoring: Sharing your live location with our 24/7 support team to ensure safe passage through hilly terrains.
  • Sending SMS alerts regarding your booking status.

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We only share information with:

  • Assigned Drivers: They receive your name, phone number, and pickup location to fulfill the service.
  • Law Enforcement: In cases of safety emergencies or legal requirements under Indian law.

6. Account Deletion & Data Retention

Google Play and Apple App Store require users to have control over their data. You can request account deletion by emailing us. We will delete all personal identifiers within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or audit purposes.
